MAKE A GREAT JOGGING COMPANION!! YOU MUST WATCH THE VIDEO!!!

TRINA’S TIME IS UP AT THE BOARDING FACILITY WHERE THEY GAVE HER SHELTER TO SOCIALIZE HER WITH OTHER DOGS. SHE NEEDS A FOSTER AND A RESCUE GROUP TO TAKE HER TO THE NEXT STAGE. I GOT HER OUT OF HER PRISON CELL BUT I FOSTER SMALL SPECIAL NEEDS/SENIOR DOGS. I HAVE WRITTEN TO BASENJI AND GREYHOUND GROUPS BUT THEY WILL NOT TAKE MIXES. I NEED HELP WITH TRINA – IT WAS AN UNACCEPTABLE OPTION FOR HER TO REMAIN WITH HER OWNER OR GO TO A SHELTER. SPAYED, UP TO DATE ON SHOTS – IF YOU RUN A RESCUE GROUP THAT PLACES LARGER DOGS THEN I REALLY NEED SOME HELP. PLEASE WATCH THE CLIP BELOW.

Trina is a 27-pound one-year-old greyhound/basenji mix. Her owner surrendered her. He kept her confined in his room for the first year of her life…and when the once tiny puppy sprouted long racing legs… we all know how this story goes. Please watch the clip by following the link above – you will see how far Trina has come in just two weeks. Trina is house trained and crate trained. She goes potty on command. She has spent the last two weeks in capable hands,
learning how to socialize with other dogs – and she’s doing great. She needs to be taken through a basic obedience course to learn leash manners and refine her basic commands – but this is a girl that is super smart and responsive to training. She needs an experienced dog owner to guide her through her delayed puppy exuberance.. .

She is not cat tested and due to her start in life and breed mix I wouldn’t advise cats or small dogs. She loves whoever picks up her ball.

She is spayed, chipped, and up to date on her shots. Trina has so much potential to be someone’s elegant, smart, athletic companion.

Please help Trina find a loyal and responsible forever home.
